The colours and quality of animation here are worth buying for alone. Be prepared to marvel at the skill and genius. With a story brimming with heroism and love, we have always seen Tsubasa as a stand out from the crowd series. Volume 5 does nothing to change our minds in any way.
School Rumble 3 RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
It's School holidays! Of course, that means fun at the beach, waterpark and more. Expect comedy, romance, high drama and a little bit of angst. This volume really stands out for us and was pleasantly addictive viewing. With more volumes still to come, this will have you anticipating the next installment.

The Beck series has captured our imagination from Day One, as its story is quite different inthe world of anime, and so can attract a wider audience. As the story evolves, the band are trying to move to the next step and get signed to a label. We like the way this series portrays that having a passion and working hard can reap rewards whilst balancing it out with the struggle - inspirational anime.

Oh no! Not just Moon Phase 6, but the final instalment has arrived. Moon Phase has always been the ideal starter anime for the tween/early teen, with it's mix of the dark and mysterious and supreme animation, and this time we conclude the series in a warm and loving way that has made the series so compelling.

We are now into the 3rd volume of Beck, and the good news is there’s still another 3 to go! Just the music alone would make it worth a purchase but this anime does teen attitude to perfection. With less fantasy and more reality, you don’t have to be an anime freak to enjoy Beck.

Trainers and smells - for some reason, you can't have one without the other - or you couldn't until now! Place these nifty balls in your trainers for an addictively fresh smell - and the fragrance is adjustable too simply by twisting. Your trainers smell better, and so does the surrounding area - thank goodness for that! These are fab - don't buy a pair of trainers without them!
Peach Girl – Volume 4 RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Peach Girl is fresh and vibrant anime with a real girlie vibe, meaning it can be enjoyed whether you’re an anime freak or not. Volume 4 has still got plenty of tortured romance, but also more general relationship observation, as this series evolves with each instalment.

Another superb instalment of crisp anime and haunting storyline, making this a different type of watch. This appeals to all age groups, and has an understated innocence that makes it compelling to watch.

We are happy to admit that we're stationery-a-holics, so anything as fabby as this range, we fall in love with straight away. We sampled a notebook, the perfect addition to a girl's bag so you can always write down the latest bit of gossip so you don't forget. We especially liked the fact that the pages were patterned too! With loads more items in the range, head on down to New Look and fill your basket!
Tsubasa 3- Spectres of Legend RRP 15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Here is another instalment of well written sentiment and so much more, strongly backed by quality anime and appropriately moving soundtrack. You may well wonder if the quest can take a third outing without watering down the story, but this is not the case whatsoever. This is a hauntingly beautiful adventure that is sure to please.

The cover neatly portrays what this DVD is all about – fun!! The chaotic outside leads to a chaotic inner disc, crammed full of jokes. The familiar theme of young romance is at the forefront, but the carefree feeling makes it stand alone. The starter set comes complete with carboard storage case for future volumes.
Mushishi Starter Set RRP £21.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
If we compare this to Pokemon, we mean this as the story line sees a Mushi-Master collecting scary Mushi. However, this is darker whilst still comfortably sitting within the PG rating. The starter set includes an outer storage box for future volumes, and would make an attractive addition to an anime DVD collection.

We loved the story line of this third instalment, ensuring the standard from the previous two is continued. The 12 classification means darker material and the moonlit scenario leads to amazing anime. With Hazuki missing, will Kouhei and his grandfather find her?
Beck – Volume 2 RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
With apologies for using the word ‘cool’, this is seriously cool anime. Be prepared for swearing (in its place, certainly not over the top) and a truly fantastic story line based around the ultimate boy dream of playing the guitar in a band. The second volume follows neatly on from the first and is well worth a purchase.
Negima 5 - Magic 501: Magic Outside The Classroom RRP 15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
We love ‘Negima’, and so a fifth instalment is as welcome as the previous four. With romance and magic, all appropriately geared towards a teen audience, this Is truly enjoyable anime.
Tsubasa 2 - Seeds of Revolution RRP 15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
If you like your anime DVD full of action, heroism, adventure, romance, triumph through adversity and more, step this way. This has the feeling of a fairy tale brought slap bang up to date and this makes it very easy to get into. Be prepared to lose all sense of time.
Suzuka starter set RRP £21.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Teen romance and anime are a great combination, attracting a wider audience to this cult art form. Suzuka includes all the trials and tribulations of unrequited love, set against a school backdrop and athletic prowess. The starter set comes complete with cardboard outer which means storing future outings is sorted already.
Tsubasa Volume 1 - Gathering Of Fates RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
It is almost impossible to describe the quality of this anime. The colours literally take your breath away and the way images and special effects are used is top class. The story itself is magical fantasy with music to match. Syaoran sets out to find what remains of his true love, Princess Sakura’s, soul, showing strength of spirit and making sacrifices along the way.
Peach Girl – Volume 2 RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Another volume packed full of anime with girl power. Teen school life anime style is extremely perceptive, with all the traumas of love and all the laughs you have making lasting friendships. This volume is slightly more involved than the first, as happens when characters have been firmly established. It remains highly addictive, and with great teen appeal.

If you want an incredibly stylish lower cost phone, the Sagem my150x has it all. This is as slim as it gets and the black rubber style body with shiny silver edging make it a head turner. What we love most is the retro style display – the early digital look is big news for all types of product and the my150x has it in bags. The blue illuminated display is as fun as it is useful as it is trendy, and functions are easily accessible. No camera on this one, but with people now wanting their phones without extras they don’t use, this sets it above from a mere starter phone.

Beck – Volume 1 RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
This is just great teen viewing - 14 year old Koyuki feels alienated from society and is going nowhere with his life. His life is about to change though, and he’s about to live the life of a teen rock musician. The story has a bit of a goth edge to it and the animation is, as usual, as real as it gets.
'Rumbling Hearts 3: Betrayal is a Bitch' RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
In the final installment of this dvd set, it was full to the brim of Emotion that you can feel as you went along with the story and each of the characters. This is the first anime i've seen that was able to effect me in a way that i didn't think a anime could possibly archive. The whole story left you with a sense of determination and pride for each of the characters. This dvd is a must see for all ages.

Moon Phase is a romantic horror comedy mainly focusing on the romantic comedy side but still delivers a great darknest to the story. The story revolves around the Young paranormal photographer named Kouhei and a really young vampire girl named Hazuki. From the first to the last episode on the dvd your left with a grin on your face from the foolish antics and strange going ons. This dvd is NOT one to be missed.
Peach Girl – Super Pop Love Hurricane Volume 1 RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Words can not describe how fresh and addictive Revelation Film’s ‘funimation’ titles are. This one is pretty much girlie territory with the trials and tribulations of being a high school teen realistically portrayed. What is appealing besides the fresh colour, sublime illustration and relevant stories is that there is ultimately a sense of optimism. It’s a valuable visual tool in making life seem worth living at an age when worries may seem primary. Indulge and be happily addicted!

Amazing! This is quite simply one of our favourite review items ever. The idea itself is genius – a bag that plays music!?! The rucksack itself is sturdy, roomy and thoughtfully laid out complete with specific spaces for pens etc, and most importantly your iPod (which is very well concealed and protected by the way). Once you’re iPod’s connected up (a breeze), simply switch on and go – music comes out of the inbuilt speaker system. The quality is impressive – we envisaged a tinny sound but got supreme clarity at any level. Being tops on style too, it is impossible to fault. We LOVE it!

Welcome to the story of Katrina, a 19 year old girl with attitude to ‘die’ for. She’s the kind of girl you’d love to be in a twisted sort of way, but would never carry it off. Emily Barclay however, plays the part to absolute perfection Set in Australia, if this kind of stuff was ever allowed to replace ‘Neighbours’, the UK teen audience would be instantly addicted. The mix of action and documentary makes it believable stuff, more like a high quality home movie but with a superb, darker edge. Brilliant stuff, and you don’t have to be a teenager to enjoy it either!
'Negima!Magic 201 : Magic and Combat : Episodes 7-10' RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Taking the action up a notch, these episodes are slightly darker and deeper yet with that same light anime feel. With a great mix of teenage angst and romance, this will have great appeal to a teen audience as well as an anime fanbase. This is just more of the fantastic animation and storytelling that is anime and we love it!
'Negima! Magic 101 : The Basics of Magic : Episodes 1-6' RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Superb anime, centred around a school. This is not just any school, but an all girls school and they are excited at the prospect of Negi, a trainee wizard teaching there. What ensues is a DVD full of magic and mischievous fun, ideal for younger teens and anime fans alike. As usual, the animation is magnificent, and worth anybody checking out. A+
'Fruits Basket' RRP £49.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
If you are bored of watching the same stuff, you won’t go far wrong by introducing youself to anime with the above boxset. Clear and realistic illustration will pull you in and leave you open mouthed. The stories are innocent yet full of mystery and suspense that will keep you hooked. You will relate to the emotions and feel involved in the character’s lives, just what great DVDs should do. Don’t be surprised if your art work is a lot more inspired afterwards too!
'Rumbling Hearts 1: Betrayal is a Bitch' RRP £15.99 Stockist: 'Play.com'
Anime has a huge cult following. If you don’t know what it’s all about, grab yourself a copy of ‘ Rumbling Hearts’ and prepare to be hooked. Trust us – we are! Fab stories, brilliant illustration and believable characters make it unmissable stuff. Teen romance is never straight forward and not usually this compelling either. The animation brings the full drama and the highs and lows to life – you will be desperate for Takayuki to find happiness and truly relate to the complications of life after being in a coma. Bring on more of the same!
